Ingredients

  • 500g cassava, grated
  • 1 cup coconut cream
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • Banana leaves
  • 1/4 cup grated coconut
  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. 1 Grate cassava finely.
  2. 2 Mix with coconut cream, sugar, salt, vanilla.
  3. 3 Stir in grated coconut and butter.
  4. 4 Wrap in banana leaf parcels.
  5. 5 Steam for 45 minutes.
  6. 6 Cool slightly and serve.
