Ingredients

  • cooked rice (2 cups)
  • yogurt (1 cup)
  • milk
  • mustard seeds
  • urad dal
  • curry leaves
  • ginger
  • green chilies
  • pomegranate seeds
  • salt
  • oil

Instructions

  1. 1 Mix cooked rice with yogurt and a splash of milk. Mash lightly for a creamy texture.
  2. 2 Heat oil, add mustard seeds, urad dal, curry leaves, ginger, and green chilies.
  3. 3 Pour tempering over the rice-yogurt mixture.
  4. 4 Mix well and add salt to taste.
  5. 5 Garnish with pomegranate seeds and coriander. Serve at room temperature or cold.
