Ingredients

  • 4 ripe bananas
  • 3 rounds of flatbread or malawach, torn
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 3 tbsp ghee
  • 4 tbsp heavy cream
  • 1 tsp ground cardamom
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • Black sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. 1 Tear flatbread into small pieces and lightly toast in a dry skillet until slightly crispy around the edges.
  2. 2 Peel bananas and mash roughly in a large bowl, leaving some chunks for texture.
  3. 3 Add the toasted bread pieces to the mashed banana and mix together, crushing and folding until combined.
  4. 4 Drizzle generously with melted ghee, honey, and heavy cream. Sprinkle with cardamom and powdered sugar.
  5. 5 Mix lightly so the bread absorbs the sweet liquids. Serve in bowls garnished with black sesame seeds.
