Whole breadfruit roasted over coals until charred and fluffy inside. Served with coconut cream.

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe breadfruit
  • 1/2 cup coconut cream
  • Salt
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 lime
  • Banana leaf
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • Green onion

Instructions

  1. 1 Place breadfruit on coals.
  2. 2 Roast 35 minutes, turning.
  3. 3 Remove when charred and soft.
  4. 4 Peel off skin.
  5. 5 Slice into wedges.
  6. 6 Serve with coconut cream, butter, salt.
