Ngali nuts simmered with greens and coconut milk into a rich, nutty stew. Uniquely Solomon.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup ngali nuts, shelled
  • 2 cups coconut milk
  • 1 cup slippery cabbage, chopped
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 lime, juiced

Instructions

  1. 1 Shell ngali nuts and halve.
  2. 2 Saute onion and garlic in oil.
  3. 3 Add coconut milk and nuts.
  4. 4 Simmer 20 minutes until nuts are tender.
  5. 5 Add slippery cabbage, cook 5 minutes.
  6. 6 Season with salt and lime.
