Instructions

    Blend ginger with 2 cups of water until very smooth.

    Strain through fine cloth, squeezing out all juice.

    Boil remaining water with cloves for 5 minutes. Cool completely.

    Combine ginger juice, cooled clove water, sugar, lime juice, and cream of tartar.
