Ingredients

  • 4 golden apples (June plum), peeled and grated
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 1 small chilli, minced
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp fresh coriander, chopped

Instructions

  1. 1 Peel golden apples and grate the flesh coarsely, avoiding the fibrous seed.
  2. 2 Combine grated apple with diced onion, chilli, and coriander.
  3. 3 Add lime juice and salt. Mix well.
  4. 4 Let sit five minutes to allow juices to release and flavours to combine.
  5. 5 Serve as a condiment alongside grilled fish, curry, or rice dishes.
