Instructions

    Beat eggs and sugar until thick and pale, about 8 minutes. Fold in sifted flour, cornstarch, and baking powder.

    Pour into a greased and lined baking pan. Bake at 180C for 20-25 minutes until springy.

    Cool completely, then cut into 3cm cubes.

    Melt chocolate with milk and butter to make a smooth coating sauce. Cool slightly.

    Dip each cube into chocolate sauce using two forks, then roll immediately in desiccated coconut.

    Place on a wire rack to set. Refrigerate 1 hour before serving.
