Ingredients
2 cups corn flour
1 egg
1/2 cup grated Paraguayan cheese
1 small onion, finely diced
1/2 cup warm water or milk
Salt
Oil for frying
Instructions
1Mix corn flour, cheese, diced onion, egg, and salt in a bowl.
2Add warm water gradually, stirring until a thick, spoonable batter forms.
3Heat oil in a pan to 170°C.
4Drop spoonfuls of batter into the hot oil.
5Fry until puffed and golden on both sides, about 3-4 min.
6Drain on paper towels. Serve hot.
