Ingredients

  • 500g taro, boiled and mashed
  • 1/4 cup grated coconut
  • 1 onion, minced
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. 1 Mash boiled taro until smooth.
  2. 2 Mix with grated coconut, onion, salt, pepper, garlic.
  3. 3 Shape into small balls.
  4. 4 Dip in beaten egg, then flour.
  5. 5 Fry until golden all over.
  6. 6 Drain and serve hot.
