Ingredients
1 cup date syrup (dibs)
3 tbsp whole wheat flour
3 cups water
2 tbsp ghee
1/2 tsp ground cardamom
Pinch of saffron
Crushed pistachios for garnish
Instructions
1Toast flour in ghee in a saucepan until golden and fragrant.
2Gradually whisk in water, stirring continuously to prevent lumps.
3Add date syrup, cardamom, and saffron. Simmer on low heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
4Serve warm in small bowls, garnished with crushed pistachios.
