Ingredients

  • 200g textured soy protein, rehydrated
  • 2 cups cooked short-grain rice
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp gochugaru
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 50g pickled radish, diced
  • 1 green onion, sliced
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. 1 Rehydrate textured soy protein in warm water for 15 minutes, then squeeze out excess water.
  2. 2 Heat vegetable oil in a wok over high heat. Stir-fry garlic and onion for 1 minute.
  3. 3 Add soy protein crumbles and stir-fry for 3 minutes until lightly browned.
  4. 4 Season with soy sauce, gochugaru, sugar, and salt. Toss well for 2 minutes.
  5. 5 Serve the seasoned soy protein over steamed rice. Garnish with pickled radish and green onion. Drizzle with sesame oil.
