Instructions

    Wash rice thoroughly and boil in water until very soft and overcooked, about 25 minutes.

    Mash the rice in the pot with a wooden spoon or potato masher until smooth and sticky.

    Continue stirring vigorously over low heat until the mixture forms a smooth, stretchy dough.

    Wet a mould or small bowl, scoop the tuwo into it, and press to shape.

    Unmould onto a plate and serve warm alongside soup.
