Mix flour, yeast, sugar, and salt. Add warm milk and egg, stir to a soft sticky dough.

Cover and let rise 1 hour until doubled.

Heat oil to 180C (350F) in a deep pot.

With wet hands, pinch off walnut-sized pieces and drop into hot oil.

Fry 2-3 min per side until puffed and deep golden.
