Thin, delicate crepes filled with walnuts, chocolate, or jam and rolled into elegant cylinders — Montenegro's favorite everyday dessert.

Ingredients

  • 250g all-purpose flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 500ml milk
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp melted butter
  • Pinch of salt
  • Butter for frying
  • Filling: Nutella, jam, or crushed walnuts with sugar

Instructions

  1. 1 Whisk flour, eggs, milk, sugar, melted butter, and salt into a smooth, thin batter. Rest 15 min.
  2. 2 Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add a tiny bit of butter.
  3. 3 Pour a thin layer of batter, swirling to coat the pan evenly.

  5. 5 Spread filling on each crepe, roll or fold into quarters.
  6. 6 Serve warm, dusted with powdered sugar or drizzled with chocolate sauce.
