Hibiscus Juice

A vibrant ruby-red chilled drink brewed from dried hibiscus flowers, sweetened and infused with fresh mint and ginger for an electrifying refreshment.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups dried hibiscus flowers
  • 1 large piece fresh ginger, sliced
  • 1 bunch fresh mint
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2L water
  • Ice for serving

Instructions

  1. 1 Rinse hibiscus flowers thoroughly.
  2. 2 Boil water, add hibiscus flowers and ginger. Simmer 15 minutes.
  3. 3 Strain through a fine sieve, pressing to extract all liquid.
  4. 4 Add sugar and stir until dissolved. Add fresh mint leaves.
  5. 5 Chill thoroughly and serve over ice.
