Ingredients

  • 2 whole chambo or tilapia
  • 4 tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 onions, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt and pepper
  • Lemon juice

Instructions

  1. 1 Lightly fry fish until golden on both sides.
  2. 2 In same pan, sauté onions and garlic.
  3. 3 Add tomatoes and simmer until sauce thickens.
  4. 4 Return fish to sauce, cover, simmer 10 minutes.
  5. 5 Squeeze lemon and serve.
