Ingredients

  • 4 Luxembourgish-style beef Thüringer sausages
  • 4 crusty bread rolls
  • Mustard (medium or strong)
  • Pickled cucumbers, sliced
  • Fried onions (optional)

Instructions

  1. 1 Heat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
  2. 2 Grill sausages for 8-10 minutes, turning regularly, until charred and cooked through.
  3. 3 Slice bread rolls lengthwise without cutting all the way through.
  4. 4 Place grilled sausage inside each roll.
  5. 5 Add mustard and sliced pickled cucumbers.
  6. 6 Serve immediately, wrapped in a napkin for easy eating.
