Instructions

    Make dough: combine flour, yeast, sugar, salt. Add warm milk, melted butter, and egg. Knead until smooth. Rise 1 hour.

    Sauté onions in butter over low heat for 20 min until deeply caramelized. Mix with shredded smoked chicken and pepper. Cool.

    Roll dough to 5mm thick. Cut into 10cm squares.

    Place filling in center of each square. Fold into triangles or rectangles, sealing edges firmly.

    Place on lined baking sheets, cover and rise 20 min. Brush with egg yolk.

    Bake at 200°C (390°F) for 15-18 min until golden brown. Serve warm.
