Instructions

    Parboil rice until just al dente. Drain.

    Mix herbs together. Layer rice and herb mixture alternately in a buttered pot.

    Add 2 tbsp oil and 2 tbsp water to the bottom for tahdig. Cover tightly, steam on low 45 min.
