Ingredients

  • 400g wide egg noodles or csusza pasta
  • 300g fresh túró (cottage cheese or quark)
  • 200ml sour cream
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Salt

Instructions

  1. 1 Cook noodles in well-salted boiling water until al dente. Drain, reserving a splash of pasta water.
  2. 2 Melt butter in a skillet over low heat.
  3. 3 Toss hot noodles with crumbled cottage cheese and melted butter, adding pasta water as needed to combine.
  4. 4 Season with salt. Serve in a warm dish topped generously with sour cream.
