The Story Behind Sauce d'Arachide

Groundnut (peanut) sauces are found across West and Central Africa, and Gabon's version reflects the country's unique culinary identity. Groundnuts have been cultivated in the region for centuries, and the combination with palm oil, tomatoes, and local chillies creates a distinctly Gabonese interpretation of this pan-African tradition.
