Instructions

    Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, water, and oil into a soft dough.

    Knead briefly, cover, and rest for at least two hours or overnight.

    Roll dough flat, cut into strips, stack pairs and press together.

    Stretch each pair gently and drop into hot oil at 200C.

    Fry turning frequently until golden and puffed, drain on paper.
