Instructions

    Rinse hibiscus flowers thoroughly.

    Place flowers in a large pot with ginger, cloves, cinnamon, and water. Bring to a boil.

    Simmer for 15 minutes until the liquid is deep red.

    Strain through a fine sieve into a pitcher.

    Stir in sugar while still warm. Let cool.

    Chill in the refrigerator and serve over ice with fresh mint.
