Ingredients

  • 2 cups sorghum meal
  • 6 cups warm water
  • 1 tbsp sugar (optional)

Instructions

  1. 1 Mix sorghum meal with warm water in a clay pot or jar.
  2. 2 Cover with a cloth and leave in a warm place for 2 days to ferment.
  3. 3 Stir well. For a drink, dilute with more water and strain.
  4. 4 For porridge, cook the fermented mixture over low heat, stirring until thick.
