Tsheringma Tea

A fragrant herbal infusion made from wild tsheringma leaves foraged in Bhutan's highlands, prized for its delicate floral notes and calming properties.

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp dried tsheringma leaves (or chamomile as substitute)
  • 4 cups boiling water
  • Honey to taste (optional)

Instructions

  1. 1 Bring water to a full boil.
  2. 2 Place dried tsheringma leaves in a teapot.
  3. 3 Pour boiling water over the leaves and cover.
  4. 4 Steep for 5-7 minutes.
  5. 5 Strain into cups and add honey if desired.
  6. 6 Serve warm as a calming afternoon or post-meal beverage.
