Ingredients

  • 3 cups fermented corn dough
  • banana leaves for wrapping
  • water
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  1. 1 Knead fermented corn dough with a little water until very smooth.
  2. 2 Bring a pot of water to a boil.
  3. 3 Divide dough into portions and wrap each tightly in banana leaves.
  4. 4 Steam the wrapped dough for 30 minutes until firm.
  5. 5 Unwrap and serve warm alongside sauce or stew.
