A Belarusian open-face flatbread topped with sour cream sauce, onions, mushrooms, and cheese, baked until bubbly and golden.

Ingredients

  • 300g flour
  • 150ml warm water
  • 1 teaspoon yeast
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • 200ml sour cream
  • 200g mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced into rings
  • 150g hard cheese, grated
  • Fresh herbs

Instructions

  1. 1 Mix flour, yeast, sugar, salt, and warm water into a soft dough. Knead 5 minutes.
  2. 2 Let rise 30 minutes until doubled.
  3. 3 Roll dough into a round about 30cm across.
  4. 4 Spread sour cream over the surface.
  5. 5 Top with mushrooms, onion rings, and grated cheese.
  6. 6 Bake at 200C for 15-20 minutes until golden and bubbly.
