Wedges of sweet pumpkin baked with honey and butter until caramelized and tender, a traditional autumn dessert.

Ingredients

  • 1kg pumpkin, seeded and cut into wedges
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. 1 Preheat oven to 190C.
  2. 2 Arrange pumpkin wedges on a lined baking tray.
  3. 3 Mix honey with melted butter and cinnamon.
  4. 4 Brush the honey mixture over each pumpkin wedge.
  5. 5 Bake for 40-45 minutes until tender and caramelized.
  6. 6 Serve warm as dessert.
