Potato Pancakes with Beef

Crispy potato pancakes layered with seasoned ground beef filling, baked in the oven with sour cream until golden and bubbling.

Ingredients

  • 8 large potatoes, peeled and grated
  • 1 onion, grated
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 400g ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 200ml sour cream
  • Salt and pepper
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. 1 Grate potatoes and onion, squeeze out liquid, mix with egg and flour.
  2. 2 Fry thin potato pancakes in oil until golden on both sides.
  3. 3 Brown ground beef with diced onion, season well.
  4. 4 Layer draniki and beef filling in a greased baking dish.
  5. 5 Pour sour cream over the top.
  6. 6 Bake at 180C for 20 minutes until bubbly and golden.
