Instructions

Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.

Add beaten egg and milk. Stir to form a thick batter.

Fold in diced conch, onion, bell pepper, celery, and Scotch bonnet.

Heat oil to 180C in a deep pot.

Drop batter by tablespoons into the hot oil, frying in batches.

Fry 3-4 minutes, turning once, until deep golden brown.
